We needed a stop on the way back from Savannah since that would have been an 8 hour trip home, so we considered a few different beaches and decided to go with Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach since we'd never been there. Jonmark loves the beach, as does Mykenzi, so that got us to the beach for a little bit since we didn't go any other time over the summer. A bonus for me was that One Tree Hill is filmed in Wilmington, and we actually got to see the filming of one of the scenes with Bethany Joy Galeotti, which we thought was pretty cool. We saw many other locations that are used for filming, including the River Court where the cast plays basketball often. I even walked on the blacktop and videoed it (artwork on it from last season by a character in the show). It may sound pathetic, but how often do you get to see things like this? The beach was beautiful though, and we enjoyed our stay in the area for one night!

While we were out on the beach that morning the sky was an awful dark blue/gray and it was thundering. We had a quick downpour and the sun came out.
Camden refused to be put down in the sand. I tried a couple of times and he just cried, so we had to carry him.

That's the end of our trip except for a bunch of videos taken while on the road and at all of our stops. So I'll start catching up the last 5 weeks now!
