Mykenzi and Cohen's Birthday Party

Kenzi & Makeup

Mykenzi got a makeup kit for Christmas 2009, and she loves putting it on anyone that will sit still for it. I draw the line at putting makeup on the boys though, so no worries there.

She had done my makeup, but I tried to wash it off and that stuff stains your face for the rest of the day, so you can see some of the blue eyeshadow still.

Kenzi's 6th Birthday

In her '6' shirt I made her with the fabric she chose, getting ready to open presents.

She absolutely loves being a big sister to those boys!

Festival Saturday

The morning of the parade in Colonial Beach (the festival we go to every year), we had the wrong start time for the parade, so we left the house in a hurry, thinking we didn't have time to pack a lunch. When we arrived in CB, we found out we we were early, so we had time take the golf cart out and pick up some pizza to eat on the sidewalk while we waited. Cohen took a nap until the parade stated.

It was so hot that after a few minutes of waiting we were all miserable.

He's really miserable. If it weren't for the candy during the parade, I'm thinking he would have asked to go.

We needed lots of water to get through this parade.

It was a perfect day to hit the pool afterwards while we waited for fireworks later that night.

Kenzi was terrified of swimming without a flotation device, specifically this one, at the beginning of the summer.

Cohen loved ice cold teethers in the pool all summer.
