Picnic & Playground

We decided to do something different with the kids and take them on a picnic at a playground in Colonial Beach last week while we had some great weather. So we packed up some drinks, sandwiches, and snacks, and headed to the playground for lunch and play time.

Smiles and laughter....there isn't a better sight or sound
from your little ones, especially when they're doing it together!

We found a picnic table away from the playground because if we were close to it they'd want to go off and play instead of eating. At this spot though we were close to the boat ramp, which they really enjoyed when someone put a boat in the water, and we were close to the road where Camden could see lots of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and golf carts go by.

Mykenzi is always kissing on the boys, and her affectionate side seems to have rubbed off on Camden because he loves to give Cohen kisses all day.

They both love yelling into these things.

Monkey bars

Camden didn't want to go down any slides (he never does), and liked walking up/down the steps and along this walkway the whole time.

Mykenzi loves slides!

Those shoes! I'm not a big fan, but Mykenzi loves them!

Camden decided he wanted to take his shoes off, not sure why. I did talk him out of it though.

They were pretending this was a counter for ordering food, hot dogs and ice cream I believe.

Pondering what she wants to order.

Cohen slept the whole time they were on the playground.

Last stop...the seesaw, which Jonmark had to push down for Camden even though he weighs 28 pounds and Mykenzi only weighs 35 pounds. We thought their weights would be close enough that they could do the seesaw together, but apparently not.

Did Camden grow up over night? He looks so much older recently! He is so cute!
