We had a little problem with the golf cart the night of the Firemen's Parade, so we had to park the van and sit on the sidewalk that night. Saturday morning Jonmark fixed the golf cart so we were able to take it to the parade and the fireworks that night. It was so nice just finding a place to park, pulling in, enjoying the parade/fireworks from the cushioned seats on the golf cart, sitting in the shade, and watching Mykenzi and Camden's excitement. Just like during the Firemen's Parade, once the Grand Feature Parade started Mykenzi and Camden both sat still on the golf cart, waving to everyone in the parade, and only occasionally jumping off to pick up candy, most of which they can't even eat because just about everyone gave out hard candy.
We all had a great time at the festival this year!
