8/31 - Painting Indoors = Eating Outdoors

We finally decided on a color to repaint the whole house. Jonmark painted the foyer a few months ago, but after looking at it for a few weeks and looking at other samples, it just wasn't right. We both wanted to go a little darker. So we narrowed it down to the two below, and finally made a decision.

This is on the dining area wall behind the china cabinet. We chose the one on your right.

This meant putting up the baby gate and doing one section at a time, and Mykenzi and Camden brought over chairs so they could watch!

Since the house was a reck from moving things around and cleaning things out, we ate dinner outside, which the kids seemed to reall enjoy! Mykenzi is still asking me if we can eat outside again, but it's getting a little too cool out for that. When we have another warm day we'll do it again, since it's too cool out in the evenings.

Quick dinner that night: hot dogs, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese.

Even Mykenzi's toy dog, Blade (seen in a video last Christmas scaring Camden as he skated across the floor), had his own chair.

Mykenzi was inspecting her hot dog for "black stuff." She won't eat the grill marks.
