When Mykenzi woke up on Easter morning the first thing she said was, "did the Easter Bunny come?"

She was very excited to see that not only did the Easter Bunny leave baskets for her and Camden, but a picnic table for her and a Mickey Mouse firetruck for Camden, both of which they share.

Camden loves having his own car! A big plus is that it has Mickey Mouse on it.

Pulling his first Mickey Mouse out of his basket. It's the first thing he went for.

Then he found a book, which of course he wanted to eat.

Mykenzi got a new Brain Quest set (300 questions and answers to get a smart start - that's what the box says). I LOVE these and highly recommend them. For Christmas she got the Age 3-4 set and blew through them very quickly, so now she has the Age 4-5 set, which she's already done over 1/4 of and is doing really well. Maybe we'll get her the 5-6 set for her birthday! I also plan to get Camden the Age 2-3 set when it's time (I didn't know about Brain Quest when Mykenzi was 2). Mykenzi really enjoys answering all the questions, and it's neat to see just how much she really knows.

No candy for Camden yet, so he got a can of his favorite snack, Gerbers Lil Crunchies - Veggie Dip flavor!

A Handy Manny DVD!

Some crazy bug for Camden to play with when we're out and about.

Mykenzi's first two books of the 'I Can Read' set! She's doing very well with recognizing letters and loves to write, so we're going to try these books. It's the first step before really learning to read; there are Steps 1-4 and before 1 there is the 'My First' step which is "Ideal for sharing with emergent readers." The words are in large type and repetitive with a simple story line.

Chewing on a bath time ducky.

The plate of snacks Mykenzi left for the Easter Bunny. He ate all the carrots, and most of the broccoli and strawberries, drank all the water, and left her a letter saying he will take the note she left him back to his rabbit hole and hang it on the wall. She thought this was really cool!

Attempting to jump rope for the first time, which Camden thought was funny looking.

Eating Kenzi's bubbles!

What a cool dude with his first pair of sunglasses, which he does not like to wear, but neither did Mykenzi when she had her first pair like this.
