This is the bird's nest that Mykenzi made at preschool. ***
I talked to her teacher today about questions we have regarding some of the things Mykenzi does, and the teacher and the assistant both informed me that Mykenzi has all of the personality traits that kindergarten teachers look for: she likes to help the teachers, she plays well with others, she's eager to learn, and she listens very well. When I mentioned that it's tough with your first child to know if they're really as smart as you think they are when they may actually be behind (because we're always surprised by the things Mykenzi knows and can do, but never actually knowing if she's ahead, right on track, or behind), they said that Mykenzi is definitely not behind. It's reassuring to hear these things from professionals who work with other children Mykenzi's age.
