Easter Egg Hunt

Our first organized Easter egg hunt, first for us all.

Relaxing in the stroller watching all the little ones hunt for eggs, and after this smile he started trying to climb out of the stroller because he wanted to get down and run with them.

When we first arrived, Mykenzi wanted to know where the "egg pickin' " was going to be! It was a tough egg hunt with so many children in the 1-5 age group and lots of elbowing parents according to Jonmark who said it was very rough out there. In the end Mykenzi did find 7 eggs though, and she was quite pleased. And who says there's no such thing as a free lunch? We enjoyed our free hot dogs, chips, cupcakes, and drinks to include the free admission, so that topped off our first experience at an organized Easter egg hunt. Plus the scenery was beautiful at the Stratford Hall Plantation, so we look forward to going back next year, even though we'll both have to brave those elbowing parents next year to take out both children.
