Strawberry Pickin'

On May 15th, Mykenzi's preschool class went on a field trip to the Berry Farm to pick strawberries.

Looking at the fish pond outside the country store.

If you look really hard you can see the goat that walks up a ramp from the ground to the top of the pole on the right side of the picture and over to the top of the pole on the other side of the road. You can actually feed him some how up there. We've never done that, but we've watched other kids do it.

Mykenzi picking, and eating, strawberries. They don't have any pesticides on them so they told everyone that we could eat them right there in the field. I was a little worried about bugs and dirt, but we had just had several days of heavy rain before that so Jonmark said no worries.

Getting help from Daddy.

Camden had fun walking around, sitting in the grass, and eating strawberries as well!

They were huddled together checking over a strawberry that Mykenzi picked and wanted to eat!

Look at that red face! She was sitting in the grass waiting for the lady on the tractor with the "hayride" to come pick us up and take us back up to the store. It started off pretty cool out that morning and turned into a hot day, especially out in the field without any shade, so I overdressed the kids since it warmed up a lot faster than I had anticipated. :(
