Our Great Wolf Lodge Vacation

We took a mini vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge during the first week of April for 3 nights, and we all had a wonderful time. It was a much needed break from daily life, and it was great to see Mykenzi and Camden have so much fun. Camden is always a trooper, going along with whatever we do without much fuss, and Mykenzi enjoyed everything we did together as well.

Dressed in her new bathing suit, more than ready for the waterpark!

Camden has no idea what's going on (first time in the water besides a bath), but after a couple of trips to the waterpark he started to get excited whenever I asked him to come get his bathing suit on.

Mykenzi loves to pose with Camden whenever the camera is out!

Looking up at daddy as if he's a little unsure.

Mykenzi loves to go down the big slides with us, so we took turns going with her, but she also surprised us by saying she would be done after several trips down the slides and wanted to go play with Camden in the kiddie area.

He's definitely a water-lover!

Giving him kisses - isn't she always?

We even had fun playing in the water shooting out of the floor. You have to be careful where you step though because you can spray water into other people's faces, like I accidentally did to one dressed mom with her glasses on while I was talking to her about her little boy that Camden was intrigued by.

We even had fun just hanging out in the room at night, and luckily with all the activity it never took long for them to fall asleep.

Camden doesn't know how to play the QuestMaster game with Mykenzi's wand, so he just decided to eat it while she was busy coloring her Great Wolf Lodge t-shirt.

Daddy suprised Mykenzi with a Pup Pass which gave us lots of incentives and free options, one of which was an activity in this kids club and she chose to color a free t-shirt.

One of our favorite things to do outside of the waterpark was the arcade. I never cared much for places like this when I was young, but Jonmark said he used to love arcades. Mykenzi received free tokens with her Pup Pass so we had to spend some time there, but found that we also enjoyed winning tickets for her. She loved the Deal or No Deal game! At the end she won over 700 tickets so she took home a mini basketball (of everything there that she could get that was the nicest) and a few pieces of candy.

We also enjoyed Howl In One putt putting at the resort, which was Mykenzi's first time playing.

Camden took a ride on Daddy, and it was so cute the way he'd look down each time Jonmark would putt, and once he hit the ball Camden would turn his head to the side just like Jonmark to watch the ball.

Putt Putt wore Camden out!
